Jazz Society sets Annual Meeting, Birthday Party
The Hot Springs Jazz Society will hold its Annual Meeting and Birthday Party at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at St. Luke’s Parish Hall, 228 Spring St.
“Lovely vocalist Maureen Morgan will be singing some of your favorite Classic American song-book tunes,” a news release said.
“We have board member Jim Kelly to thank for the wonderful entertainment provided by the Village Big Band for the Hot Springs Jazz Society’s Annual Meeting and Birthday Party. Jim is the band director and you can personally thank him at the party,” the release said, noting there will be “plenty of room on the dance floor to show off all those dance lesson moves.”
This is a free event for current members of the Hot Springs Jazz Society, but everyone is welcome. Tickets for nonmembers are $25. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be provided.
