MOUNTAIN HOME — Jimmy D. Boswell of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away April 4, 2022, in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 86.

He was born March 25, 1936, in Elvins, Mo., the son of Homer and Alberta Smith Boswell. Jimmy served in the National Guard. He married Joy on July 23, 1982, in Hot Springs, Ark. Jimmy was a truck driver for ETMF and ABF Trucking. He retired to Mountain Home in 1999, after driving a truck for nearly 40 years. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed watching auto racing with his son, taking vacations to different states, fishing, golfing and eating Mexican food. He loved the ocean.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Joy Boswell of Mountain Home, Ark.; son, Mark (Brenda) Boswell of Doniphan, Mo.; two daughters, Kristine (Brian) Stitch of Branson, Mo., and Pamela (Michael) Reed of Naylor, Mo.; stepson, Jimmy Sykes of Jessievill­e, Ark.; stepdaught­er, Johnna Ford of Benton, Ark.; 10 grandchild­ren, Shannon, Amanda, Bill, Joy, Jennifer, Michael, Hope, Trace, Jodie and Jayla; seven great-grandchild­ren, Avery, Anna, Jackson, Gage, Adrian, Micah and Zechariah; and two great-great-grandchild­ren, Ryanne and Denver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Bob Seal, Bill Boswell and Richard Boswell.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. today, April 7, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A funeral service for Jimmy will be 1 p.m. today, April 7, 2022, in Kirby & Family Funeral Home chapel. Entombment will be in the Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Ark.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Arkansas.
