Enoch Dewitt “Doc” Porter, 90, of Hot Springs, Ark., went to his heavenly home on April 27, 2022.

He was born Feb. 9, 1932, in Hampton, Ark., to the late Dewitt and Ozzie Porter. Doc faithfully served his Lord as deacon, Sunday school teacher, mentor and counselor to so many friends and family. He was a member of Legacy Church in Hot Springs, Ark., and charter member of Hampton First Assembly of God Church.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Betty Watson, Janis Johnston and Thelma Jean Porter.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Billye Porter; daughters, Jennifer Jennings (Skip), Cindy Dudenhefer (Harry); grandchild­ren, Kirby Key (Rob), Jon Marc Dudenhefer (Heather), Kyle Jennings (Melissa); and three very special great-grandchild­ren, Porter and Avery Key, Camryn Wisler.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today, April 29, at First Assembly of God Church in Hampton, Ark., with services following at 11 a.m. The Rev. Larry Burton and Rev. Ricky Smith officiatin­g. Burial will be at Pickett Cemetery.

Pallbearer­s are Kyle Jennings, Jon Marc Dudenhefer, Sam Johnston, Chuck Watson, Tim Ables, Rob Key and Matt Williams.

The family would like to give special thanks to the following: Mindy Farmer, Bessie Sheffield, Lynn Reeves, The Caring Place, Rock Steady Boxing and the staff at Brookfield Memory Care.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to The Caring Place, 101 Quapaw Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901.
