Gerald Wayne Wheeler entered Heavens “Pearly Gates” on Monday, July 4, 2022, surrounded by his wife and family.

Gerald was known for his love for family, hot rods, music, the Arkansas Razorbacks and watching his grandchild­ren play sports.

Gerald was a loving husband to his high school sweetheart, “Bobbie Sue,” for 52 years and had three daughters, Robin (Noel) Uzick, Cyndi (Neil) Fisher, Cathy (Jason) Puckett. He had eight wonderful grandchild­ren: he was predecease­d in death by Tyler and Andrew Puckett; survivors: CJ (Jordan) Uzick, Beau Uzick, Neila (Richard) Burke, Marcus (Chandler) Fisher, Cameron Puckett and Brannon Puckett. One great-grandchild: Amelia Burke, and one great-grandson, (Baby Uzick) on the way.

Gerald was a devout Christian and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was in constructi­on for over 30 years and then founded the Cabinet Door Shop in 1986.

A celebratio­n of Gerald’s life will be graveside at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 7, at Crestview Cemetery.

Pallbearer­s include Noel Uzick, Neil Fisher, Jason Puckett, CJ and Beau Uzick, Marcus Fisher, Neila Burke, Cameron and Brannon Puckett, and Tyler and Andrew Puckett.

Honorary pallbearer­s are Eddie Steadman and staff, Richard Dunn, Glen Coffman, Bruce Hood, Brian Sligh, Ricky Batts and Windel Magar.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dierksen Hospice.
