Toastmasters meetings to resume on July 30
Hot Springs Toastmasters Club 7643 has canceled its regular meeting on Saturday due to various conflicts, but will resume its regular meetings the following Saturday, July 30.
“Toastmasters is a supportive, inexpensive way to learn speaking and leadership skills. New members are offered mentoring. Meeting roles rotate from one week to the next,” a news release said. The local club is an affiliate of Toastmasters International, which began in the 1920s and has clubs on all continents except Antarctica. The annual international conference will be held in Nashville in August.
The Toastmasters International website is now operational following major updates earlier this year. The local club’s website, https://7643.toastmastersclubs.org/, includes contact information.
The club holds in-person meetings and also offers Zoom attendance. In-person meetings are held at First Church of the Nazarene, 3804 Central Ave. Visitors are welcome, at no charge. Visitors are asked to first contact the club through the website or by calling 501262-1664 or 760-717-5747.
The online meeting cannot be accessed through either website.
