Hannah R. Gordon

Hannah Ruth Gordon, age 69, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was born to Arthur and Shellie Harrington on Sept. 14, 1952, in Louisville, Miss.

Hannah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, her sisters; Mattie Harmon, Kathleen (Willie) Goode, Lonnie Garner, Bertha Williams, and her brothers; Tommy Harrington, Robert Harrington, and Arthur Harrington Jr., and her in-law, Maxine Harrington.

Hannah married Edward Gordon on April 28, 1972, in Hot Springs, Ark. She worked at Home Health Care, and she cooked at the Math and Science School. She was a member of Living Waters COGIC. She loved cooking, singing, and spending time with her family.

Hannah is survived by her children Edward (Latoya) Gordon of Hot Springs, Ark., Latosha (Tony) Hogan of Little Rock, Ark., La’sonia (Lawrence) Clark of Conway, Ark. Her brother, Freddie Harrington of New York, and her sister Shirley (James) Anderson of Peoria, Ill., her grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda) Gordon, Joshua Gordon, Tony (Helen Leach) Hogan Jr., Alexis Hagan, Carlin Fuller Jr., Devonta Fuller, her in-laws, Annie Harrington, Maxine Harrington, Dianne Harrington, and Herbert Williams. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.

The funeral will be today, July 23, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Living Waters Church of God in Christ. The burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, 3077 E. Grand Ave., Hot Springs, Ark. 71901.
