Stacy L. Samuels Jr., 60, of Hot Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was born on June 18, 1962, in Hot Springs, Ark. to the late Stacy L. Samuels Sr. and Carey Samuels Hudson. Stacy was of the Church of Christ faith and a concrete constructi­on worker.

He was predecease­d by his father, Stacy L. Samuels Sr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his six children, Stacy Samuels III and Dasean Samuels (Tosha), all of Hot Springs, Moneshia Everett, of Memphis, Tenn., Ashley Sojourney (Calvin), of Bossier City, La., April Everett and Brittney Samuels, both of Hot Springs, his mother, Carey Hudson, of Hot Springs, his brothers, Steven Samuels (Juanita), of Little Rock, Tracy Samuels, of Pine Bluff, and Laron Samuels (Sara), of Hot Springs, his sisters, Thelma Jones, Carey Lyn Marlow, Janice Coleman (Clint) and Teresa Hawthorne (Michael), all of Hot Springs, numerous grandchild­ren and a host of great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hot Springs Funeral Home,

Please remember Stacy’s favorite words were “This too shall pass.”

Spike is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Dorinda Fullmer.

Survivors include his daughter Sandy Long (Britt), Sister Annjane Eager, Grandson Tyler Tigue, and friend Ted Smethers. Spike also leaves several nieces and nephews along with a son Scott Schultz to cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at Gross Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022, with Ronnie Gilmore officiatin­g.
