St. Vincent Primary Care Clinic adds two physicians to team

CHI St. Vincent recently announced the addition of two physicians, Dr. Richard Chastain and Dr. Laura Lester, to its team of leading physicians at CHI St. Vincent Primary Care Clinic in Hot Springs.

Chastain began seeing patients on July 18 at the clinic located at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 506. The team of providers at the clinic cares for adults and children, including wellness checks and preventive medicine, helps manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes and helps patients coordinate care between specialist­s.

Lester began seeing patients on July 18 at the clinic located at 1707 Airport Road. The clinic provides care for adults and children, helps manage chronic conditions and helps patients coordinate care between specialist­s. The family medicine team at the clinic provides chronic disease management, immunizati­ons, lab services, physical exams and preventive care.

According to a news release, after attending medical school at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherland­s, Chastain completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Regional Campus in Fayettevil­le.

He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and previously served as a family medicine physician at the Baptist Health Family Clinic in Malvern.

After attending medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, Lester completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Regional Campus in Fayettevil­le.

She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and previously served as family medicine physician at Baptist Health Family Clinic in Malvern.
