Toastmasters to meet Saturday in Kass Room

Hot Springs Toastmasters Club 7643 will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Kass Room of National Park Medical Center, 1910 Malvern Ave., and welcomes visitors at no charge.

“Original plans to use the Maurice Room have been revised for now, due to better technical options for Zoom connection. A sign will be posted indoors, to direct you to the Kass Room, which is near the Maurice Room,” the club said in a news release.

The online meeting location is not currently accessed through either website.

In-person participants are asked to bring or wear a mask, to allow for checking out the layout as needed. If necessary, a larger room can be arranged.

“Toastmasters is a supportive, inexpensive way to learn speaking and leadership skills.

Training resources for speechmaking, online — or if needed, in print — are part of Toastmasters support available to members. Toastmasters International’s materials and programs also offer leadership development. New members will be offered mentoring, either assigned or a chosen match. Meeting roles rotate from one week to the next,” the release said.
