Hot Springs Arts and Crafts Fair Getting ready for the 54th year

-

The 2023 Hot Springs Arts and Crafts Fair is getting ready for its 54th year. It is one of the oldest arts and crafts fairs in the country.

This juried show of quality handmade items will include indoor and outdoor furniture, jewelry, soaps and lotions, clothing, baskets, pottery, candles, wood crafts, photographs, quilts, pet clothes and treats, paintings, t shirts, toys, seasonal décor, and more.

The Extension Homemakers Country store located in Building 5 is a crowd favorite. There you will find beautiful crafts done by the Extension Homemakers members.

Special areas for the children include bouncy houses and other games at the front and a petting zoo in the arena.

The Extension Homemakers Kitchen will be open with homemade foods including chicken salad, ham and bean dinners with cornbread, chili, hot dogs, burgers, fries, chocolate and oatmeal cake, and their famous doughnut holes.

There are also many concessions on the grounds with shoppers’ favorites — kettle corn, funnel cakes, roasted corn, cotton candy, barbecue, roasted nuts, corn dogs, and Texas Twister fruit drink.

Complimentary golf cart taxis are available to take those that need a ride from the parking lot to the shopping area, and to help take purchases back to your car. Wheelchairs are available.

We are located at 4831 Malvern Road. Parking is free and there is no admission fee.

The fair will be Oct. 6, 7, and 8. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Put on some comfortable walking shoes and come spend the day with us. There is something for everyone and it is a great time to start your holiday shopping.
