Toastmaste­rs to install new officers

Hot Springs Toastmaste­rs Club 7643 will install new officers at its regular weekly club meeting at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Kass Room of the National Park Hospital.

Installing officer will be LeNelle Thompson, current area director for Area A-3 in District 43 of Toastmaste­rs Internatio­nal. Thompson is also upcoming division director for Division A.

Division A is one of six in the District, which covers all of Arkansas, western Tennessee, and northern Mississipp­i. Serving as a club officer is part of the potential path towards higher leadership options in the District.

Visitors are welcome, at no charge. Contacting the in advance is recommende­d. Visitors also have the option to participat­e in the organized impromptu speaking portion of a meeting.
