HS ad agency changes ownership

SixtyOne Celsius, a full-service advertisin­g agency in Hot Springs, recently announced Aaron Buckley, the company’s creative director, has acquired the agency from former President Stephanie Alderdice.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role and continue the legacy of positive change that SixtyOne Celsius has initiated in Hot Springs, Garland County, and beyond,” Buckley said in a news release.

“Our commitment to helping our clients grow their enterprise­s remains unwavering, and I look forward to building on the foundation laid by my predecesso­rs.”

“Under Buckley’s creative direction, SixtyOne Celsius worked with

Hot Springs and Garland County leaders to pass ballot initia- tives totaling more than $75 million in community improvemen­t projects. The agency’s portfolio has included a wide range of projects, from highway infrastruc­ture enhancemen­ts to the expansion of the Mid-America Science Museum’s facilities and the developmen­t of the Majestic Park baseball complex,” the release said.

SixtyOne Celsius, formerly Kirby & Co., has provided traditiona­l as well as digital advertisin­g and marketing services since 1988. The advertisin­g firm currently serves as the agency of record for Stone Bank, Mid-America Science Museum, Levi Hospital, the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring, and Arkansas Dental Centers. SixtyOne Celsius also holds contracts with many other small businesses, nonprofits, and financial institutio­ns to provide video production, social media management, website developmen­t, media strategy and placement, and public relations, according to the release.
