Without much ado and little notice from the media, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, delivered a speech to the United Nations General Assembly, which should give every American cause for great concern.

Last Wednesday, Attorney General Lynch announced the launch of the Strong Cities Network; a coalition of cities and local authorities, partnering in an international effort to build social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.

Recalling the attacks on September 11th, 2001, Ms. Lynch described it this way: “…terrorists carried out a vicious assault on democratic values and inclusive societies everywhere. Their brutal attack claimed the lives of thousands of innocent victims - including citizens from 90 nations.”

Did you catch the liberal-speak? The terrorists, who are not identified, didn’t attack the United States; they attacked citizens of inclusive societies all over the world.

She continues, “…we have continued to see violent extremists emerge from within our own communities – from terrorists inspired by groups like ISIL to fanatics motivated by hatred against religious or ethnic factions.”

Never once does Lynch identify the 9/11 terrorists as Muslim extremists. Rather, she equates terrorists inspired by ISIL (not ISIS), with some unidentified “fanatics” who hate certain religious or ethnic groups.

So how will the Strong Cities Network (SCN) help to fight violent extremism around the world? Lynch tell us, “As we continue to counter a range of domestic and global terror threats, this innovative platform will enable cities to learn from one another, …and to build social cohesion and community resilience here at home and around the world.”

And here’s the most horrifying part: “The Strong Cities Network… is not only a powerful way to lift up our communities worldwide. It also sends a message about who we are and what we aspire to be as an alliance of nations and as a global community.”

In a press release by the Department of Justice, we learn that, “The SCN will include an International Steering Committee of approximately 25 cities and other sub-national entities from different regions that will provide the SCN with its strategic direction.” It will also have an International Advisory Board which “will be run by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), a leading international ‘think-and-do’ tank with a longstanding track record of working to prevent violent extremism.”

The ISD website, which is filled with leftist buzzwords, gives this warning: “The tragic attacks in Norway on 22 July, 2011, drew Europe’s gaze to the dangers of the growing presence of far-right extremism across Europe and the increasing legitimization of anti-immigration and anti-Islamic discourses within mainstream European politics. The blurred relationship between violence from the extreme right and broader trends of Islamophobia and anti-immigration sentiment poses several challenges for policymakers seeking to address the increasing risk of violent right-wing extremism.”

So the London-based Institute for Strategic Dialogue, believes that the biggest threat of violent extremism around the world comes from “Islamophobia” and from those considered “anti-immigration.”

CNN reported in February that a Department of Homeland Security Intelligence report warns of domestic right-wing terror threats: “Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to, and in some cases greater than, the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention.”

Really? If there are right-wing extremists who are beheading thousands of people, burning Christians alive, flying jets into buildings, raping women at will, and throwing homosexual men off of tall buildings for public display, let’s focus our international outrage on them.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka, an expert on counter-terrorism, appeared on Fox and Friends Weekend and responded to the report this way: “It really is the most egregious politicization of national security,” he said. “We’re going to be looking for right-wing extremists when ISIS prepares to attack us? It’s outrageous.”

Yes, it is outrageous, especially now when thousands of Muslims are flooding into Europe, and the Obama administration is announcing plans to take in more Muslim immigrants here.

President Obama once said, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

On the 2008 campaign trail, then- Senator Obama made this startling statement: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

This global initiative sounds like a plan to demolish the U.S. Constitution and implement laws enforced by the United Nations.
