2015 Leaders of Character Dinner

What: The Boy Scouts Western Los Angeles County Council will hold its annual dinner honoring community leaders in the Santa Clarita Valley. The purpose is to recognize those individuals in business, industry and government who have exemplified the Scout Oath and Law in their daily business and personal practices. ‘Dracula’

What: Suspenseful story based on the classic legend of the Transylvanian vampire. The lead characters in the play work to piece together Dracula’s identity and make a valiant attempt to stop him from taking new victims. ‘The Diviners’

What: During the Great Depression, a widowed farmer is raising his son, Buddy, whose brain was damaged in a near-drowning childhood incident. Sweet Buddy is terrified of water, but has developed an uncanny ability to find it for his drought-stricken farm community. When CC Showers, a preacher who has lost his faith, comes to the farm seeking employment and food, a unique bond develops between he and the troubled but gifted Buddy.
