Motorhome burns in Newhall

A motorhome caught fire and burned Monday behind a gas station in Newhall.

The fire was reported at 4:44 p.m. Monday behind the Chevron Gas Station at Newhall Avenue and Sierra Highway, fire officials said.

They found the LeisureCraft motor home fully engulfed in fire, exposing a Subaru Forester.

The fire was knocked down at 5:13 p.m. There were no reported injuries and the cause was under investigation.
