Martha Jo Cawley

1953 - 2016

Martha “Marty” Jo Cawley of Saugus, CA passed away unexpectedly in her home in Saugus, CA, on Friday, July 1, 2016. She was born in Elgin, IL, on January 4, 1953 to Richard and Ruth Peck.

Marty spent her formative years a short distance away in Mount Prospect. The family relocated to Summit, NJ ZKHUH VKH ¿QLVKHG KLJK VFKRRO $IWHU attending Hiram College in Ohio, Marty moved to Boston, where she spent many years. In California, Marty called Granada Hills and Santa Clarita home before setting down roots as a home owner in Saugus.

Professionally, Marty was a Human Resources Director for various organizations, including Platinum Group of Chatsworth, Network Direct, and most recently, Kemper/Merastar Insurance. She also served as Executive Vice President of Operations at Novo 1, Relay Point, and 800 Direct.

She is survived by her siblings Kay Plasch, Richard Peck, and Susan Milano, as well as by three nieces and one great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Marty’s Life was held on July 24th at her sister Kay’s home in Thousand Oaks, CA. In lieu of ÀRZHUV DQG FDUGV WKH IDPLO\ UHTXHVWV that those wishing to send condolences may donate to their local animal shelter.
