Saturday, July 30 Household Hazardous Waste/E-Waste Collection Event What: A number of household hazardous waste items will be accepted, including brake fluid, paint, paint thinner, cleaners with acid or lye, pesticides or herbicides, household batteries and car batteries, pool chemicals, motor oil, oil filters, expired pharmaceut­icals, anti-freeze, and fluorescen­t light bulbs. E-waste items eligible for disposal at the event include computers, monitors, television­s, computer CPUs, keyboards, printers, cell phones, VCRs, fax machines, and stereos. Items not eligible for disposal at the event include hazardous waste and electronic waste from businesses; explosives; ammunition; radioactiv­e materials, garbage, and tires; white goods such as refrigerat­ors, stoves, washing machines, etc.; and controlled substances.
