Stanley Stephen Stuka, Jr., 79, of Santa Clarita, CA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 2, 2016 in Thousand Oaks, CA. Stanley was born September 9, 1936 in Nanticoke, PA to Stanley Stuka, Sr. and Alice Kivler. He served in the Air Force from 1956

DV DQ DLU WUDI¿F FRQWUROOHU $IWHU DQ honorable discharge from the military, 6WDQOH\ FRQWLQXHG WR ZRUN DV DQ DLU WUDI¿F controller for an additional 27 years, retiring from Burbank Airport in 1987. ,Q KH UHWXUQHG WR DLU WUDI¿F FRQWURO as an instructor, working for another 11 years before retiring for a second time from Whiteman in 2002.

Stanley enjoyed aviation, spending WLPH ZLWK KLV IDPLO\ ¿VKLQJ UHDGLQJ and backgammon. Although he passed away unexpected­ly, his life was full of excitement. He frequently shared stories of his adventures with his children.

Stanley is survived by his children: Zoe Sessler, Stanley Stuka III, Brian Stuka, Nicole Dunn; his grandchild­ren: Brian Stuka Jr., Autumn Stuka, Benjamin Stuka, Sammy Stuka; his sisters: Marie Antosh, Ruth Killian and Frances Sopko.

Stanley’s services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 in the lower chapel at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.
