SCCS stays on a roll

Santa Clarita Christian varsity baseball beat Trinity Classical LOCAL ROUNDUP Academy, 7-4, on Tuesday at the Hart complex, the 32nd straight Heritage League win for the Cardinals.

SCCS’s Noah Dent pitched seven innings, allowing two earned runs on two hits. He struck out six.

Dent went 1-for-2 at the plate and scored three runs. Josh Sparks went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Joe Sparks went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Dylan Yu swept three singles sets 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0 for the Grizzlies (3-7 overall, 1-2 Foothill), who won eight out of nine doubles sets.
