Fun on the Farm

What: Every Saturday the farm is open for family fun including pony rides, wagon rides, petting zoo and crafts. Concessions also available. Activities and concessions are priced “each.”

When: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where: Gilchrist Farm, 30116 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus

Cost: Pricing for Saturdays: Pony Rides $5, Wagon Rides $5, Petting Zoo $5, Crafts $5, Print Pony Ride Pictures $3. Value Pack: buy a Value Pack of Tickets for $25 receive $30 worth of activities. Concessions vary by week. Snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, etc. We accept cash or credit cards.

Vasquez Rocks Hike

What: Join the Vasquez Rocks Docent Naturalists to learn more about the geology, history, archeology, flora and fauna of the park.

When: Classroom presentation at 10 a.m.

at the V.R. Interpretive Center. The Trail Hike begins at 10:30 a.m.

Earth Day Festival

What: Green Clean Pros is hosting its 4th annual Earth Day SCV Festival. This is a free event to celebrate our earth and get outdoors with the community. Earth Day education, crafts, music, wellness vendors, Memorial Day tribute, bounce house, face painting, live reptile show. Vendor signup: www.earthdayscv.com.
