Independence Day Classic 5K & 10K Run/ Walk
What: The route is fast and flat and takes runners along the city of Santa Clarita’s Parade route. After the race, enjoy a refreshing Jamba Juice and stay for the parade.
When: 10k race begins at 7 a.m., 5K race and walk begins at 8 a.m., Kids 1K begins at 7:45 a.m. Same day registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6-7:45 a.m.

Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast

Santa Clarita Fourth of July Parade
What: This year’s theme is “The Emblems of the Land I Love” and will feature horses, floats, live music, classic cars, military presentations and marching bands. Watch the procession move from Hart Park and travel down Main Street, Lyons Avenue and Orchard Village Road before finishing at 16th Street. When: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Where: Main Street and Market Street in Old Town Newhall.

What: Fireworks at the Westfield Valencia Town Center will be shot from the parking structure above Buca Di Beppo restaurant. Tune in to KHTS AM 1220 for a soundtrack to compliment the event.
