E-Waste Recycling Fundraiser

What: Proceeds from this event will help fund a number of STEM activities and programs provided to our students. We will accept: computers and monitors, cell phones, LCD monitors and televisions, MP3 Players and GPS Systems, CRT televisions and monitors. We cannot accept hazardous waste, batteries, refrigerators, washers, dryers, microwaves, stoves or ovens. When: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Where: Emblem Academy, 22635 Espuella, Saugus

AARP Smart Driver Safety Program

What: AARP Smart Driver Safety Program which may qualify participants 50 and over for a discount from your insurance company. When: 8:30 a.m. - 12 :30 p.m. Where: SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market Street, Newhall

Cost: AARP Members - $15, Nonmembers $20. Cash or check, no credit cards.

Danish Days Trip to Solvang

What: Spend the morning in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley at the festival and experience the sights, sounds, food and Danish culture that make Solvang famous.
