WEDNESDAY CELEBS
Q: Can you tell me when my favorite show, “UnREAL,” will be back?
– Keri R., via email
A: Lifetime’s critically acclaimed series – which gives a fictitious behind-the-scenes glimpse into the chaos surrounding the production of a dating competition program called “Everlasting” – will return for its third season on Monday, Feb. 26, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Caitlin FitzGerald comes aboard as Serena, the female “suitress” of “Everlasting.” Serena will face off with the show’s queen bees, producers Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby) and Quinn King (Emmy-nominee Constance Zimmer), who are shaking things up, all for the sake of ratings. The ladies will be tempted more than ever when they’re surrounded by hot new suitors, including Bart Edwards, Alex Hernandez, Adam Demos and Alex Sparrow.
Returning to the show are Craig Bierko, Josh Kelly, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Genevieve Buchner. Joining the cast are Brandon Jay McLaren as the on-set psychologist, Dr. Simon; Kassandra Clementi appearing as Chet’s new girlfriend, Crystal; Chelsea Hobbs as Charlie, a talented new camera assistant; and Jaime Callica as Xavier, a dancer and Jay’s love interest. ***
Q: I’ve always loved “The Librarians” movies, and I’ve tried to keep up with the series. Will there be any more seasons of the series, or perhaps another movie?
– Hattie M., Des Moines, Iowa
A: TNT’s “The Librarians” will be back for a fourth season, which is slated to launch with a twoepisode premiere on a new night, Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The hugely popular fantasy series is based on, as you mentioned, TNT’s hit movie franchise of the same name, and centers on an ancient organization dedicated to protecting an unknowing world from the secret, magical reality hidden all around.
Returning to the show are Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth and John Harlan Kim as protectors of the world’s mystical treasures, with John Larroquette resuming his role as their reluctant caretaker. Special bonus: Noah Wyle recurs in seven of 12 episodes this season as Flynn Carsen, the role he played in the movie trilogy.
