Virginia Robinson Barton 1937-2017

Virginia Robinson Barton passed away to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on a rainy Tuesday, January 9, 2018 very unexpected­ly. She was born January 26, 1937 in Spokane, WA to Harold and Lu Henry Saiter.

Virginia has lived in Newhall, CA at the same house since 1966. Virginia met Donald Robinson and was married for over 25 years. She was a 1st -second grade teacher for over 35 years and recognized with numerous awards as one of the most loved and sought after teachers for Mitchell Elementary in Canyon Country. During that time she had two children Scott and Neil Robinson. Scott still resides in Santa Clarita with Virginia’s beautiful granddaugh­ter, Nicole Robinson. She also has two beautiful grandchild­ren from Neil and Andrea Robinson named Austin and Korinne. Anyone who knew Virginia knew how much she loved her two sons and grandchild­ren.

She is survived by her sons Scott and Neil Robinson, and Neil’s beautiful wife Andrea; three grandchild­ren: Nicole, Korinne and Austin; her sister Willy and husband Frank Story; and numerous cousins. Virginia also leaves her loving companion, Bruce Ivy.

A Service/Ceremony will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Saint Stephens Church, 24901 Orchard Village Rd, Valencia, CA 91355. The family welcomes anyone who Virginia may have touched during her lengthy and wonderful time she lived in Santa Clarita.
