NextSCV teams up with Princess Cruises for event

- Signal Staff

NextSCV, newly rebranded from SCV Emerging Leaders, has officially announced their first event of the year. On Wednesday, February 28th, the group will be taking a behind-thescenes tour of the Princess Cruises World Headquarters, followed by a mixer at The Dudes’ Brewery hosted by Princess. The event is open to young professionals between the age of 21-40 who work in Santa Clarita.

Executives at Princess Cruises will give an inside look at the operations that are performed at their headquarters. From product development and marketing, to selling and operating a fleet of 18 cruise ships that carry two million guests to visit over 360 ports annually, the team will reveal how decisions from the Santa Clarita location impact the entire cruise operation globally.

“We look forward to hosting NextSCV, the group of young professionals who are emerging leaders in the community,” stated Brian O’Connor, Vice President of Public Relations at Princess Cruises and an Executive Committee Member for the SCV Chamber of Commerce. “It’s inspiring to see how the group is evolving and we’re proud to support them as they introduce a new look, a clearly-defined mission and enthusiasm for unique professional development opportunities for members in 2018.”

Princess Cruises will host a complimentary reception afterward at The Dudes’ Brewery for a chance to network with the NextSCV Leadership Committee and executives from Princess. Registration can be found on the NextSCV website: www.nextscv. com/RSVP.
