Saugus softball beat Granada Hills Charter two times in a double-header on Tuesday.

The Centurions won the first game 17-0. Dallas Andrews was 2-for-4 at the plate with five RBIs and a double. Makayla Lopez was 3-for-3 with four RBIs, a single and a home run. McKenna Gibson and Taylor Tonoian also homered. Saugus won 10-3 in the second game, which featured three RBIs and a double from Lopez. Hayley Mihut was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a double.

The Cents open Foothill League play at home against Canyon on April 10.

Boys golf

West Ranch boys gold beat Arcadia 377-414 at Santa Anita Golf Course on Tuesday. The Wildcats’ Favian Busnawi earned medalist honors, carding a 1-over 72.

The first Foothill League boys golf meet will be on March 20 at noon at Sand Canyon Country Club.

As of The Signal’s press deadline, the Clippers led the Denver Nuggets 89-88 with less than 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Tyrone Wallace led the Clippers with 18 points. Lou Williams followed with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Kings, Golden Knights

The Kings led the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1 at the end of the second period.

Kyle Clifford scored an unassisted goal eight minutes into the first period. Tyler Toffoli netted an unassisted goal in the second period, followed by a goal from Anze Kopitar. Alex Iafallo was credited with the assist.
