Giddy-up for some fun
Hart Park to host Cowboy Festival music, entertainment
Tickets are still available for a host of music concerts at Hart Park as part of the 25th annual city of Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival taking place on April 19-22.
The event, which draws thousands of visitors from across the country to Newhall, has five stages in addition to actors portraying a living history of the West, trick ropers, a petting zoo and a plethora of other live entertainment.
Guests can access 40 unique western gear vendors, purchase handmade crafts, cowboy hats, boots and more, city officials said.
Cowboy Festival activities such as archery, hatchet throwing and mechanical bull riding all make a return this year, and you can take a break from the fun and excitement with food from your choice of different cowboy cuisine vendors and libations from one of the Wolf Creek beer gardens stationed around the park
In between servings of Cowboy Cobbler, Cowboy Festival guests can catch the following shows.
Mane Stage presented by Heritage Sierra Medical Group
The main stage visible from the entrance to the park, features Western and Americana bands including the award-winning Jon Chandler and Ernie Martinez, Lon Hannah and the San Joaquin Junction and New West.
