GOLDEN VALLEY 21, FULLERTON 14

This is the week Golden Valley gets their first win of the season. With the Indians not having much of a running game, the Grizzlies defensive line will cause havoc in the backfield to disrupt Fullerton’s offense, possibly cause a few turnovers.

WEST RANCH 28, ST. GENEVIEVE 17

The Wildcats finally have their first real test of the 2018 season with the matchup against the Valiants. With Ryan and Jovan Camacho taking care of the ground and air game, the Wildcats’ defense will look to shut down St. Genevieve’s running game as they have amassed 679 yards in the two games played.

SAUGUS 45, BUENA 7

Saugus is coming in focused and averaging 57 points through two games. This result will be no different as they will punish the Bulldogs in every facet of the game.

VALENCIA 28, SILVERADO 10

The Vikings are coming off a defeat at the hands of out-ofstate opponent Arbor View. Traveling to Victorville to play Silverado, the Vikings and Larry Muir will be looking to exact some punishment on any opponent that stands in their way. Look for Davis Cop and Luring Paialii to have bounce back games and put up big numbers.

CANYON 35, BURROUGHS 7

Canyon is coming off a tough loss against San Fernando. Putting up 26 points on the Tigers, the Cowboys should be primed and ready to take on Burroughs’ defense.

HART 35, ARCADIA 24

In a repeat of last year’s first two games, the Indians will rebound from the opening week loss to Downey and come back to give Arcadia headaches. Expect Michael Colangelo and Jacob Montes to have big games through the air and running back Ethan Blair to continue his success on the ground.

TRINITY 32, FILLMORE 20

This will be the Knights’ first true test of the young season. The Knights will look to continue their hot start and scoring prowess up behind quarterback Rick Roberts and his go-to wide receiver Carson Campuzano.
