Marion Elizabeth Redfern (Irving) was born on September 23, 1920 in Glendale, CA to parents Frank and Mary Ann Irving. She passed away peacefully at the age of 97 in her home on August 25, 2018.

She spent her childhood in Glendale, CA before meeting Fred Redfern in 1945. They married soon after meeting and began a family in Panorama City, CA. They were blessed with a son, Rick Redfern, and a daughter, Tina Bregger. In 1958 they moved to the small country town of Newhall where she became a dedicated wife and mother to her children.

She devoted her early years to her family, friends, and her church. Marion loved to help people and she took her passion to the Hallmark store where she worked for 25 years. She enjoyed helping others make memories of special occasions. She could be seen every holiday season greeting others with a smile and hug. She loved volunteering her time at the First Presbyterian Church of Newhall, gathering with friends, and spending time with her family. Throughout her life, she touched all that she met with her loving, welcoming, and positive spirit.
