Lakers win fifth of year
The Lakers won their fifth game of the year, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-110 at home on Wednesday.
LeBron James missed getting his second tripledouble of the season by one assist. James finished the game with 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in 39 minutes of action.
Kyle Kuzam was 4-of7 from 3-point range, finishing the night with 21 points on 8-of-15 field goal percentage.
Brandon Ingram followed with 20 points, five rebounds and six assists in 35 minutes.
Second-year player Josh Hart came off the bench to chip in 21 points and four rebounds.
NHL Ducks 3, Flames 2 The Anaheim Ducks picked up two points after a 3-2 win against Calgary in Anaheim on Wednesday.
Ryan Getzlaf scored his second goal of the season in the win while Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg added goals of their own for their third and fourth of the season, respectively.
Ducks goalie Ryan Miller finished the night with 37of-39 saves to pick up the win in between the posts.
