Lakers win fifth of year

The Lakers won their fifth game of the year, beating the Minnesota Timberwolv­es 114-110 at home on Wednesday.

LeBron James missed getting his second tripledoub­le of the season by one assist. James finished the game with 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in 39 minutes of action.

Kyle Kuzam was 4-of7 from 3-point range, finishing the night with 21 points on 8-of-15 field goal percentage.

Brandon Ingram followed with 20 points, five rebounds and six assists in 35 minutes.

Second-year player Josh Hart came off the bench to chip in 21 points and four rebounds.

NHL Ducks 3, Flames 2 The Anaheim Ducks picked up two points after a 3-2 win against Calgary in Anaheim on Wednesday.

Ryan Getzlaf scored his second goal of the season in the win while Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverber­g added goals of their own for their third and fourth of the season, respective­ly.

Ducks goalie Ryan Miller finished the night with 37of-39 saves to pick up the win in between the posts.
