What: “Into the Woods” is a musically sophisticated dark comedy that follows a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. When: 7-9:30 p.m.

COC presents Shakespeare's 'Measure for Measure'
What: The College of the Canyons theatre department continues its season with a production of William Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure.” Measure for Measure, once seen as a raucous comedy, is now viewed through a contemporary lens where hypocritical moralists are juxtaposed with bawdy humor. A duke abdicating his authority, archaic laws strictly imposed, and a woman’s stand against lechery are among Shakespeare’s elegant arguments and timeless characters that hold uncanny relevancy.

Premiere Party for the 11th Annual Art About Agriculture
What: Be the first to see the 11th iteration of the Ag Art Alliance’s popular pastoral art show, “Art About Agriculture.” The group show features dozens of artworks by artists from across the country who have portrayed the beauty and bounty of agriculture in scenes ranging from fields, farmworkers and farmers markets to animals, barns and back-road vistas.
