Skyline hosts grand opening

After announcing plans to open this fall, Skyline in Santa Clarita featured model homes for four new home collection­s earlier this month, by Pardee Homes and TRI Pointe Homes.

On Nov. 3, several dozens of interested homebuyers attended the grand opening event to tour the brand new community, indulge in a brief hike and visit “The Lookout,” Skyline’s community space for recreation, fitness and entertainm­ent.

Skyline Developmen­t occupies about 2,173 hilltop acres off of Whites Canyon in Canyon Country, with miles of hiking trails, natural open space and multiple indoor and outdoor lifestyle amenities.

The four neighborho­ods that comprise Skyline offer “distinctiv­e, flexible designs for diverse, knowledgea­ble homebuyers,” according to Dave Little, president of Pardee Homes’ Los Angeles-Ventura division. The neighborho­ods are: Sola by Pardee Homes provide two-story, three- to fourbedroo­m homes in up to 2,225 square feet of living space with either two and a half or three bathrooms. The structures, in Spanish and Farmhouse designs, price around mid $500,000.

Lyra by Pardee Homes offer flexible options as it ranges in four to seven rooms, two and a half to five bathrooms in up to 3,500-square-feet homes, pricing in the high $600,000s.

Mystral by TRI Pointe Homes are two-story, 3 to 6 bedroom homes that price in the mid $600,000s. Homes in this neighborho­od rang between 2,600 to 3,132 square feet of living space.

Celestia by TRI Pointe Homes are one or two-story structures with options like 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2.5 to 4 bathrooms and nearly 2,600 square feet of living space. Anticipate­d pricing ranges in the high $500,000.
