Valencia Pipe Co. Inc. has leased a $10.1 million industrial building in the Santa Clarita Valley that will serve as its new headquarters, CBRE officials announced Tuesday.

The company, a division of VPC Global and a manufacturer of steel tubing and pipes for retail and wholesale, locked in on a 170,990-square-foot facility at Vista Business Park, located at 28305 Livingston Ave. in Valencia.

The area is just about 2 miles away from its main locale on Industry Drive.

“This new location provides Valencia Pipe Co. with an excellent opportunity to expand its growing business and consolidate multiple locations into a single facility,” Andrew Dervin, CEO of VPC Global, said in a prepared statement. “This will allow us to grow and to service our customers in the best way possible.”

The Class A property will serve as the company’s new headquarters and distribution facility, according to a CBRE news release. Valencia Pipe will continue its manufacturing operations at its 13-acre facility that opened in summer 2018 in Kingman, Arizona.

The new site features heavy power, 22 groundlevel loading doors, two dock-high doors, 30-foot clear height, and 344 parking spaces. About 7,000 square feet of corporate office space is underway and, when completed, the company will transition from its Industry Drive locale to its Livingston Avenue building.

“The lease structure allows the company to move all warehousing functions in early while the new corporate office space is being built, and it provides Valencia Pipe with the ability to lease and sublease its existing six facilities in the Valencia Commerce Center,” said Matt Dierckman, one of the tenant’s representatives with CBRE.

The landlord, Valencia LLC, was represented by Nigel Stout of JLL and Rob Fuelling and Brady Thomson of IDS. David Harding, Greg Geraci and Billy Walk of CBRE also represented Valencia Pipe Co.
