Santa Clarita Artist Association’s 30th Anniversary Art Classic What: This year the Santa Clarita Artist Association will hold its 30th anniversary Art Classic with more than 70 members exhibiting their original artwork in different categories and live demonstrations throughout the day. Minor Arcana Workshop What: Step into the mystical world of the Minor Arcana. 26th anniversary “Wild West” Rose Show What: The Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society will host its 26th annual Rose Show themed “Wild West Roses.” Everyone is welcome to exhibit their home-grown roses at the show, including novices and children. You do not have to be a member of the rose society to exhibit, and there are no entry fees. Simply bring your roses in a bucket of water by 9 a.m., and the rose society will furnish the vases and the entry tags.

Stage Door Sessions at Keyboard Galleria Music Center

Hart High’s 36th annual Rampage

CBS Film Series presents “Ask Dr. Ruth”
What: CBS Film Series screenings are held monthly, presenting films that address social awareness and global relevance. This month showing “Ask Dr. Ruth,” a film about sex therapist, Ruth Westheimer. “Ask Dr. Ruth” chronicles the incredible life of Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a Holocaust survivor who became America’s most famous sex therapist. With her diminutive frame, thick German accent, and uninhibited approach to sex therapy and education, Dr. Ruth transformed the conversation around sexuality. As she approaches her 90th birthday and shows no signs of slowing down, Dr. Ruth revisits her past and the unlikely path to a career at the forefront of the sexual revolution.
