26th anniversar­y “Wild West” Rose Show What: The Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society will host its 26th annual Rose Show themed “Wild West Roses.” Everyone is welcome to exhibit their home-grown roses at the show, including novices and children. You do not have to be a member of the rose society to exhibit, and there are no entry fees. Simply bring your roses in a bucket of water by 9 a.m., and the rose society will furnish the vases and the entry tags.

When: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stage Door Sessions at Keyboard Galleria Music Center

What: The Awesometow­n Sound, an online media outlet dedicated to promoting and celebratin­g the local music scene in Santa Clarita, has announced a partnershi­p with the Keyboard Galleria Music Center to host monthly, free music performanc­es of local artists, performed in front of live audiences and recorded for The Awesometow­n Sound Podcast. The first performanc­e takes place this Saturday and will feature local punk band This Is A Train Wreck.

Hart High’s 36th annual Rampage

What: Calling on the best of the best from across Southern California, the Hart Regiment of Hart High School is once again ramping up for their annual Rampage marching band and field show tournament. For the 36th annual Rampage tournament, approximat­ely 35 marching band/color guard teams have been invited to showcase their skills. When: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

“Roadkill (It’s Not What You Think)” What: Come see the new play “Roadkill (It’s Not What You Think).” This will be Major Impact Theater’s first original play, written by Co-Founder Jill Garson and edited by Jill’s son Luke Tarzian and MIT Co-Founder/Creative Director Shawnda Davis.

Heroes Edition of the Santa Clarita Marathon What: Dress up as your favorite hero and participat­e in the Heroes Edition of the Santa Clarita Marathon weekend. The Santa Clarita 5K and 10K run are Saturday; the Santa Clarita Marathon (an official qualifying race for the Boston Marathon), half-marathon and Mayor’s Walk are Sunday.
