Sigrid Annemarie (Muller) Ravizza

Sigrid Ravizza of Santa Clarita, CA, passed away on June 4, 2022 after a long fight with Alzheimer’s. She was born on April 1, 1942 in Munich, Germany.

After finishing high school, she came to the United States in the summer of 1959 with her mother, the late Elfriede Mach. Sigrid first lived in Washington, D.C., then moved to Pasadena, CA. She worked in a Los Angeles diamond jewelry store as financial secretary, and later worked at Bullock’s Department store in Northridge Fashion Center. With her new found skills in the business world, she took on two jobs; Zale’s Jewelry in Northridge and also with a roofing company as the office manager where she ultimately retired.

In the late 1980s, she was introduced to an organizati­on called “Club Italia of the San Fernando Valley.” She held the position as the Membership Chairperso­n. Members of the club enjoyed home-cooked meals, and dancing to live band music. Sigrid acquired many friends through her years with the club. In the fall of 2006, Sigrid met the man of her life, Richard Ravizza. After a short engagement, they were married September 17, 2007.

Sigrid is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Michele, three grandchild­ren, and her great-grand daughter Olivia, several stepchildr­en and step-grandchild­ren.

A mass for the “Celebratio­n of Life “is being held Wednesday July 6, 2022, 10:30 am at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church 22508 Copper Hill Drive in Santa Clarita followed by a reception in the church hall.
