Amity Township Crime Watch Monthly Meeting: 7:30p.m. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548Old Swede Road, Douglassville. Presenter is Judge Theresa Johnson, speaking on the heroin epidemic and discussing Drug Treatment Court. Topics are of great interest to parents and concerned citizens in the community. Stitching Circle: The Mifflin Community Library’s Evening Stitching Circle meets every Monday from 6:30-8p.m., and the Afternoon Stitching Circle meets every Wednesday from 1-3p.m. New members are always welcome and should bring their own materials. There are currently between 12-15 members who sew, knit and crochet. The group works on personal projects as well as service projects to benefit the community. Come join in loads of fun & stitching!
Writers group: Mifflin Writers Group continues to meet the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:30-8p.m. Mifflin Writers Group is composed of writers of all genres and levels of experience.
