- Staff reports

From teammates to opponents to teammates again.

Whatever the alignment, it was a week of excellence for Exeter tennis players Sammi Snyder and Alexis Cramer.

Snyder, a senior, won her second straight BCIAA girls tennis flight one singles championship on Wednesday, defeating sophomore teammate Cramer, 6-0, 6-0, in the final at Fleetwood.

A day later, Snyder and Cramer joined forces to capture the BCIAA flight one doubles title. They defeated Exeter teammates Corinne Grohoski and Sai Kurapati, 6-1, 6-2, in the final.

The doubles win made it four straight for Snyder, who partnered with sister Ali in the pre- vious three seasons.

Grohoski and Kurapati won their respective singles f light championships on Wednesday, Grohoski in flight three, Kurapati in flight four.

Wyomissing had two champions. Junior Anna Kate Shreck won flight two and sophomore Vittoria D’Addesi won flight five.

In doubles, Wyomissing’s team of Claire Ziolkowski and Julia Herb won flight two, defeating Kutztown’s Emma Kyle and Brianna Wendling 8-6 in the final.

Off the success of its play at the BCIAA tournaments, Exeter is seeded No. 4 for the District 3-AAA team tournament, which begins Oct. 18 at Hershey Racquet Club. Wyomissing is the top seed in AA.
