Twin Valley’s hopeful postseason picked up where last year’s left off.

The defending AA state champions scored two goals in the opening 10 minutes of play Saturday to defeat visiting Tulpe- hocken 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the Berks League tournament.

The sizzling-hot Raiders – who were unbeaten during the regular season in Berks 1 – got goals from Grace Hiddeman, Riley Knapp and Erica Wolfgang, while outshooting the Trojans 16-5. The vic- tory was Twin Valley’s 11th consecutive overall, a stretch that has seen the Raiders outscore the opposition 41-5.

Micayla Bonargo scored the only goal of the game late in the first half, and the Bulldogs made it stand up in shutting out the Eagles. Azure Fensler stopped all six shot she saw for Wilson.

The Berks 2 regular season champs got a goal from Gracey Butsack with 8:31 to go to snap a 1-all tie and defeat the section runners-up. Kasey Bubel had SV’s other tally. Cortney Geist had Fleetwood’s goal.

The Lynx rolled the Saints with a five- goal first- half outburst and cruised to victory. Madison Kline and Sarah Beers each recorded hat tricks for Oley Valley, which outshot BC 21-10.
