Farmers’ and Artists’ Winter Market to open next month
Variety of vendors to be featured
The Antietam Valley Farmers’ &Artists’ Market is delighted to announce the start of the Winter Market season.
Beginning Saturday, Nov. 5, customers will be welcomed inside at the Rec- reation Center at Carsonia Park, Byram Street, Pennside, from 9 a.m. to Noon. Over 25 vendors, some new to our market, will be participating. Plenty of parking is available.
The Winter Market will occur on twelve Saturdays: November 5 & 19; December 3 & 17; January 7 & 21; February 4 & 18; March 4 & 18; April 1 & 15.

The market will take place indoors throughout the winter season. In the event of inclement weather, check our website and Facebook for updates. The market is made possible through the generosity of the Antietam Valley Community Partnership, the Antietam Valley Recreation and Community Center, and the Mt. Penn Water Authority.
The Antietam Valley Farmers’ & Artists’ Market is a committee of the Antietam Valley Community Partnership.
Antietam Valley Community Partnership manages a large number of community events each year, including the Antietam Valley Summer Playground Program, the Antietam Valley 5KRace and Fun Run, Free Family Movie Nights at the A-Field, Community Dinners, the Antietam Valley Street Fair in Stony Creek Mills, Historic Trolley Tours of the community, An Evening with Poe masquerade party, and the Holiday Reception and Tree Lighting Celebration in Carsonia Park, this year on Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
AVCP is working with partners in the Antietam Valley to making improvements to Carsonia Park and to create economic development opportunities in the area. AVCP is a nonprofit corporation founded in 2011 to improve the quality of life in the Antietam Valley, which includes the Boroughs of Mount Penn and Saint Lawrence, the Township of Lower Alsace, and the immediate surrounding area.
