Police receive random act of kindness

Store owners donate baskets of goods

Local residents and store owners Ben and Ellen Nonnemache­r recently took part in National Random Acts of Kindness Day on Friday, Feb. 17, by donating goods to Exeter Town- ship Police Department.

The Nonnemache­rs are the owners of the newly opened Beef Jerky Outlet store located at the Philadelph­ia Premium Outlets.

Ben, a native of the area, left behind a career in corporate sales to pursue his dream of owning his own business. Nonnemache­r is also actively involved in Project Healing Waters, an organizati­on dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilita­tion of disabled active and veteran military service personnel.

The Tri- County Area Chamber of Commerce hosted an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the store on Feb. 17. The fun then shifted to Saturday for an all- day event including 92.5 XTU, Philadelph­ia’s Country Station, and a Meet & Greet with K9 Flynn of the Limerick Police Department.
