Police receive random act of kindness
Store owners donate baskets of goods
Local residents and store owners Ben and Ellen Nonnemacher recently took part in National Random Acts of Kindness Day on Friday, Feb. 17, by donating goods to Exeter Town- ship Police Department.
The Nonnemachers are the owners of the newly opened Beef Jerky Outlet store located at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets.
Ben, a native of the area, left behind a career in corporate sales to pursue his dream of owning his own business. Nonnemacher is also actively involved in Project Healing Waters, an organization dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active and veteran military service personnel.
The Tri- County Area Chamber of Commerce hosted an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the store on Feb. 17. The fun then shifted to Saturday for an all- day event including 92.5 XTU, Philadelphia’s Country Station, and a Meet & Greet with K9 Flynn of the Limerick Police Department.
