Exeter’s Matt Feryo and Luke Scoboria posted a goldsilver finish in the boys 200 yard freestyle relay during the Central Penn League Championships held last weekend at Wilson’s Roy Snyder Natatorium.

Feryo claimed gold — his first of three for the two-day meet — with a time of 1:44.49. The sophomore Scoboria followed with a 1:47.60, separating the pair from the field by a half a second.

Feryo also took top time honors in the 500 freestyle (4:44.86), bettering the field by nearly 12 seconds. He swam the first leg of the Eagles’ golden 200 free relay (1:28.43) — which included Luke and Christopher Scoboria as well as Daniel Fedorovsky — before anchoring the silver 400 free relay (3:15.85).

Governor Mifflin’s Trevor Woolwine took gold in the 100 fly (53.03) to go along with a bronze as part of the 400 free relay (3:19.84). The contingent also included Aiden McCurley, Jake Novotny and Michael Valent. Novotny also took bronze in the 500 free at a time of 4:48.65.

Exeter senior Nick Tomczyk took first in the 1-meter diving with a 627.35. Fedorovsky, a freshman, finished third in the 50 free with a time of 22.39.

On the girls side, Governor Mifflin found its strength in its relays.

The Mustangs topped the charts in all three, posting a 1:48.65 in the 200 medley relay, a 1:37.63 in the 200 free and a 3:35.03 in the 400 free relay.

Freshman Emma Steckiel claimed silver in the 100 fly (58.93) while Ava Enriquez finished second in the 50 free (24.64).

Exeter junior Brooke Bollinger claimed first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.03. She also swam as part of the Eagles’ fifth-place 200 medley relay (1:51.60) and sixth-place 400 free relay (3:43.74).

Elli Machado was part of both Exeter relays in addition to claiming a pair of individual top-three medals.

The senior touched second in the 500 free (5:14.58) and took third in the 200 free (1:58.35).

Hannah Schlegel and the Twin Valley girls swimming team turned in a solid outing at the Central Penn League Championships held last weekend at Wilson’s Roy Snyder Natatorium.

Schlegel, a senior, closed out her CPL career with a pair of gold medals by the time the waves settled at the two-day meet.

The Ohio University commit took first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.86. She also claimed the 500 free for the fourth time in her career at 5:03.60. It was both her second individual medal of the meet and seventh for her standout career.

Sophomore Reagan Wittorff tied for bronze in the 50 free (24.82) and claimed sixth in the 100 free (56.29). Along with Schlegel, Wittorff was also part of the Raiders’ 200 medley relay, which claimed sixth at 1:52.39. That contingent also included Helen Lahmann-Metcalfe and Adeline Amber-Messick.
