Community theater group in Kutztown presents ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!’
The Talisman Players in Kutztown presents the award-winning “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!” opening Sept. 15 at Kutztown University’s Schaeffer Auditorium.
The community theater organization has been producing comedy and dramatic productions in Kutztown since 2014. Last summer their first musical production of “Fiddler on the Roof” broke Talisman reservation records.
The Talisman Players returns to the stage this fall producing “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!” Tom Nardone, who led the “Fiddler” cast as Tevye and received well deserved praise for his portrayal, is back as well as many of the multi-generational cast. The players continue to grow. Debuting in this production in leading roles will be four thespians known to past and present Kutztown Area High School supporters: Brock Rabenold, Megan Laudenslager, Vicky Diehl, Porter Holt and Crede Cooper, as well as Andy Brett who will be the featured “Book Voice.”
Christine Storch, director, continues to “marvel at the talent which has surfaced locally” and restated the Talisman mission, “to create only the best possible theatre at the most attractive prices without compromise.”
“How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!” will be showing at Schaeffer Auditorium, Kutztown University, on Sept. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for students.
