Fall Festival: To be held at Schwarzwald UCC from 11-4 p.m. Games, Pumpkins, Face painting and much more.
Salsa Dancing: Clay on Main in Oley is hosting an evening of salsa dancing from 7-9 p.m. Instructors from WH Dance Academy will be there to teach a class. The cost is $50 per person ages 14 and up with class size limited to 14. Snacks will be provided and it is BYOB. This event is part of the lead up to the Fall 2018 exhibition of Cuban artist, Julio Cepeda. Cepeda will participate in the creation of several murals in Berks County while he is an Artist in Residence at the Goggleworks Center for the Arts. Fifty percent of Salsa Night proceeds will be donated to the effort to host him.

Bereavement group: sudSSpirit Bereavement Support Group will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday October 25th at 6 PM at the Exeter Community Library. The group is for those that are survivors of the sudden unexpected death of their spouse or significant other. No registration is required and it is free. Pagoda Writers: The Pagoda Writers group gets together from 1 to 3 p.m. the first Saturday of every month on the second floor of the Pagoda, 98 Duryea Drive, Reading.
Stitching Circle: The Mifflin Community Library’s Evening Stitching Circle meets every Monday from 6:30-8 p.m., and the Afternoon Stitching Circle meets every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. New members are always welcome and should bring their own materials. There are currently between 12-15 members who sew, knit and crochet. The group works on personal projects as well as service projects to benefit the community. Come join in loads of fun & stitching!
Writers group: Mifflin Writers Group continues to meet the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:30-8 p.m. Mifflin Writers Group is composed of writers of all genres and levels of experience. Their purpose is to motivate, inspire, instruct, inform, share and critique each other in their writing efforts in a free flowing and relaxed atmosphere.
