Po­lice seek help to ID theft sus­pects

Amity Po­lice are ask­ing for the pub­lic’s help in iden­ti­fy­ing sus­pects in a re­tail theft.

On Wed­nes­day, Oct. 18, Amity Town­ship Po­lice re­sponded to the Red­ner’s Ware­house Mar­ket off Route 422 in Dou­glassville. It was re­ported the sus­pect en­tered the store at ap­prox­i­mately 6:45 p.m. and took a shop­ping cart full of Mon­ster and Red Bull en­ergy drinks and left the store with­out pay­ing for them, po­lice said.

The sus­pect was de­scribed as an His­panic male in his 40s, 6-feet, 3-inches tall, wear­ing a black and white wind­breaker jacket, blue jeans and a black baseball hat.

The sus­pect then fled the store through the “en­ter only” door that was opened by a sec­ond male in his 20s or 30s, stand­ing 5- feet, 9-inches tall, wear­ing a black jacket, red T-shirt, black pants and a black New York Yan-

kees fit­ted baseball hat, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

Both males fled the store

head­ing west on Route 422 to­ward Reading.
