EXETER 5, GOV. MIFFLIN 1 » At Reiffton April 23, Zoe Barna went 2-for-2 with a double, Sage Bolonski went 2-for-3 and pitched all seven innings to get the win for the Eagles (5-1, 7-2) over the Mustangs (1-5, 3-10).

Ellie Denlinger went 2-for-3 for Gov. Mifflin. EXETER 12, EPHRATA 1 » At Reiffton April 24, Rachael Speicher went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, Halle Kisamore went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Sage Bolonski went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI as the Eagles (8-2) topped the Mountainee­rs (1-5).

EXETER 9, WILSON 6 » At Reiffton April 26, Coryn Uhrig tripled and drove in two runs and Halle Kisamore went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs as the Eagles (6-1, 9-2) defeated the Bulldogs (3-4, 4-11).

Moriah Sauls doubled twice for Wilson.

EXETER 7, GOV. MIFFLIN 6 » At Shillingto­n April 23, Nate Serba hit an RBI single to break a 4-4 tie in the top of the 10th inning as the Eagles stunned the Mustangs for their first win.

Trey Paige went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored for Exeter and Serba was 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored. Isaac Ruoss and Michael Franks each went 2-for-4 for Gov. Mifflin, which scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh on a passed ball.

Boys lacrosse

WILSON 15, EXETER 2 » At West Lawn April 24, Tommy Reinhart had three goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs over the Eagles in Berks Conference play.

Blaise Botley and Matt Ward did the scoring for Exeter, with Jason Metz getting credit for an assist. EXETER 12, WYOMISSING 6 » At Wyomissing April 26, Matt Ward scored five goals and added two assists as the Eagles (4-4, 6-8) topped the Spartans.

Blaise Botley had three goals and an assist for Exeter. JT Gaza and Anthony Gust each scored two goals for Wyomissing.

WILSON 9, EXETER 8 » At Reiffton April 24, Kendall Duffy scored the gamewinnin­g goal with 6:36 left as the Bulldogs (6-1, 13-1) edged the Eagles (6-1, 10-2) in Berks I action.

Isabella Karstien scored three goals, and Peyton Halsey had two for Exeter. Sara DeLeon, Julia Strobel and Lindsey Fox had two goals apiece for Wilson. Joanna Helm led Wyomissing with four goals and one assist, and Lauren Bonino recorded 15 saves.

EXETER 100, CONRAD WEISER 50» At Robesonia April 24, the Eagles got multiple-win efforts from four competitor­s en route to their romp over the Scouts in Berk Conference action.

Jaydin Carter took the 100 (11.71) and 200 (23.50) for Exeter. Zach Ruth added other firsts in the 800 (2:08) and 1,600 (4:48), Jonathan Boyd won the 110 high hurdles (17.47) and 300 intermedia­tes (43.72) and Shane McGarry headed the discus (150-4) and javelin (140-7).

Girls track

EXETER 111, CONRAD WEISER 39» At Robesonia April 24, Averie and Symone Foster won a combined five events to head the Eagles in their Berks Conference meet with the Scouts.

Symone swept the 100 low hurdles (15.44) and 300 intermedia­tes (47.56) in addition to winning the long jump (15-7 1/2). Averie won the 100 (13.16) and 400 (1:01.59).

Boys volleyball

EXETER 3, WILSON 1 » At Reiffton April 24, the Eagles won the third and fourth sets to compete their Berks Conference victory over the Bulldogs. Set scores were 25-18, 23-25, 25-15 and 25-11.

Reese Ganter had three kills, two aces and 28 assists for Exeter. Luke Hoffman had 10 kills and 10 blocks, Ryan Miller seven kills and Ben Ruth 14 digs for the Eagles. For Wilson, Dan Fulop had five kills, four blocks and 25 assists, Jablaze Roman had 10 kills and two blocks and Kevin Koch had six kills. EXETER 3, DANIEL BOONE 1 » At Reiffton April 26, the Eagles were extended by the Blazers to four sets before prevailing in their Berks Conference match. Set scores were 25-16, 30-32, 25-20 and 25-22.

Reese Ganter had 30 assists, four blocks, three blocks and an ace for Exeter. Luke Hoffman added 12 kills and six blocks; Ryan Miller had eight kills, three blocks and two aces; and Justin Strauss 11 kills, six blocks and 12 digs.

For Boone, Sean Zamichieli had 13 kills; Luke Degenhart had 18 digs; and Colin Gabbet had four digs.

Gov. Mifflin Baseball

GOV. MIFFLIN 3, MUHLENBERG 2 » At Shillingto­n April 26, Tristan Kochel pitched a complete game and the Mustangs scored two unearned runs in the fifth inning to beat the firstplace Muhls and tighten the Berks I race.

Joe Adametz drove in two runs for Gov. Mifflin, Trevor Woolwine scored twice and Justin DelVecchio had two singles. Jake Kuczawa was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Muhlenberg and Matt Barton allowed one earned run in six innings.

GOV. MIFFLIN 13, EPHRATA 7 » At Shillingto­n April 23, Aidan Ebersole scored four goals, Griffin Ganster had three goals and an assist, and Chase Yoder added two goals to lead the Mustangs over the Mountainee­rs.

Ben Gates made nine saves for Gov. Mifflin. GOV. MIFFLIN 10, DANIEL BOONE 2 » At Birdsboro April 24, Griffin Ganster scored five goals to lead the Mustangs past the Blazers in Berks Conference play.

Justin Epps and Anthony Stevenson did the scoring for Boone, with Jared Glanski adding nine-save goaltendin­g.

GOV. MIFFLIN 10, CONRAD WEISER 7 » At Robesonia April 26, the Mustangs (71, 10-4) scored four goals in the fourth quarter to top the Scouts (1-8, 4-10).

Griffin Ganster scored four goals, and Ben Gates made 12 saves for Gov. Mifflin. Cody Dreibelbis led Conrad Weiser with two goals and two assists, and Jason Mascianton­io had 19 saves.

EMMAUS 15, GOV. MIFFLIN 14 » At Emmaus April 23, Claire Dennis had six goals and an assist, but the Mustangs (8-5) fell short of the Green Hornets.

GOV. MIFFLIN 20, CONRAD WEISER 2 » At Shillingto­n April 26, Hannah Stanislawc­yzk scored six goals and Claire Dennis added four goals and three assists as the Mustangs (6-2, 105) defeated the Scouts (16, 2-9).

Madison Dombrowski made 11 saves for Mifflin. Morgan Kopcik and Natalie McFadded scored for Weiser.

GOV. MIFFLIN 16, UPPER PERKIOMEN 7 » At Shillingto­n April 28, Lindsey Strohl had seven goals and two assists, and Claire Dennis had three goals and three assists for the Mustangs in their non-league victory over the Indians.

Softball

GOV. MIFFLIN 11, BERKS CATHOLIC 5 » At Shillingto­n April 26, Eliana Litwin struck out eight and allowed one earned run in seven innings in the win for the Mustangs (4-10).

Mifflin took an early six-run lead in the first and added runs in the second and fifth inning. Kim Speece and Katelyn Dreibelbis each had three RBIs and Shania Stover, Ellie Denlinger and Kendall Shank each scored two runs for Gov. Mifflin. Abigail Atkins and Bella Pichardo each had a double and Maria Prinzo tripled for the Saints (4-9).

TWIN VALLEY 76, GOV. MIFFLIN 74 » At Elverson April 24, Michael Franks and Bryce Black were two-event winners for the Mustangs in their Berks Conference meet with the Raiders.

Franks was dominant in the sprints, taking the 100 (11.51) and 200 (23.44); he also ran a leg on Mifflin’s winning 4x100 (44.77), Black got his firsts in the field, winning the long jump (20-7) and triple jump (42-30).

Girls track

TWIN VALLEY 89, GOV. MIFFLIN 61 » At Elverson April 24, Jessie Taylor and Samantha Peterson each won pairs of events to head the Mustangs in their Berks Conference meet with the Raiders.

Taylor came up big in the distance races, winning the 1,600 (5:41.04) and 3,200 (12:02.83), Peterson got her firsts in the shot put (32-3) and discus (82-9).

Boys volleyball

GOV. MIFFLIN 3, FLEETWOOD 0» At Shillingto­n April 24, the Mustangs swept past the Tigers in their Berks Conference match with the Tigers by set scores of 29-27, 25-18 and 25-14.

Jonas Conner had 13 kills and four digs for Mifflin. Kamron Wolfe had five kills, three blocks, Casey Klahr four kills, two blocks, six digs and Ryan Lawes 23 assists, three digs and two aces.

GOV. MIFFLIN 3, WILSON 0 » At West Lawn April 26, the Mustangs swept past the Bulldogs to run their record to 7-1 in the Berks Conference (11-3 overall).

Casey Klahr had five kills, seven digs and two aces to key Mifflin. Jonas Conner had nine kills and five digs; and Ryan Lawes had four aces, two kills, 22 assists and five digs.

Daniel Boone Baseball

MUHLENBERG 12, DANIEL BOONE 7 » At Birdsboro April 23, winning pitcher Tyler McGonigle went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and scored three runs as the Muhls beat the Blazers in their Berks Conference matchup.

For Boone, Carson Zuber was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Brett Goodrich was 2-for-4 with a double and scored twice. Jake Kuczawa was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and scored twice for Muhlenberg, Dean Light was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Sean Guilbe doubled and scored three runs.

TWIN VALLEY 12, DANIEL BOONE 5 » At Elverson April 26, Nolan Warner scored four goals and Eathan Warner and Zach Gardner added three each as the Raiders (3-5, 5-8) topped the Blazers (2-6, 6-6).

MUHLENBERG 76, DANIEL BOONE 74 » At Laureldale April 24, the Blazers got first-place finishes from six different competitor­s in their Berks Conference meet with the Muhls.

Winning on the track were Benjamin Hofmanner in the 800 (2:06.83), Zachary Murray in the 3,200 (10:18.76) and Branden Cody in the 110 high hurdles (16.86). In the field, Boone was headed by Anthony DeFusco in the long jump (20-10), Nolan Cremi in the triple jump (41-10 1/2) and Zack Huddleston in the discus (132-8).

DANIEL BOONE 88, MUHLENBERG 60 » At Laureldale April 24, Skylar Emory and Emily Lodge were two-event winners for the Blazers as they outran the Muhls in their Berks Conference meet.

Skylar Emory was dominant in the sprints, taking the 100 (13.69) and 200 (28.02). Lodge got her firsts in the long jump (15-7) and triple jump (33-8 3/4).

DANIEL BOONE 3, EPHRATA 1» At Birdsboro April 23, the Blazers took their nonleague match with Ephrata. Set scores were 23-25, 25-11, 25-22 and 25-12.

Scott Schilling had 15 kills and two aces; Sean Zamichieli had 10 kills; Peter Scott had seven kills; and Colin Gabbett had eight kills and two aces for Boone.

Colin O’Toole had 27 assists and four digs; Peter Scott had five kills, four digs and three blocks; Luke Degenhart had eight digs and an ace; and Scott Schilling had nine kills, two blocks and three aces to lead the Blazers (6-1, 8-3).
