‘Boro to Boro’ art show brings new artists to local area.

Your Claim To Frame, 170 Sunset Manor Drive near Birdsboro, is excited to be partnering with the Arts Council of Wayne County in Goldsboro, North Carolina, for its very first art exchange exhibition — “Boro to Boro.”

For six weeks, the gallery will be showing the work of five artists from the Goldsboro area at its gallery in Birdsboro. In return, several local artists will be showing their work at the Arts Council gallery in Goldsboro.

“The idea for the art exchange show started when long time friends moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina,” says Your Claim To Frame owner, Brian Williams. “Since my wife and I always try to visit art galleries when we travel, we stopped by the Arts Council gallery on one of our trips. I was very impressed with the quality of work they were showing and was excited about the prospect of sharing the work to our local community. After talking with the gallery director, they were interested in seeing some of our artists as well so we arranged to swap artwork for an exhibition.”

The show opened at Your Claim To Frame on May 11. Paintings and mixed media pieces from Penny Craven, Christopher Denise, Josiah King, Martha Kornegay and Christy Thompson will be on display through June 23.
