Junior grange royalty crowned
The Berks County Junior Grange held their annual camp May 18-20 at Camp Swatara. At the conclusion of camp, the campers participated in the annual coronation and crowned new royalty for the county junior grange.
Avery Tworkoski, of Bernville, was crowned the new Berks County Princess, Peter Rohrbach, of Fleetwood, was crowned the new Berks County Junior Grange Prince, Grace Tempel, of Halifax, was crowed the new Berks County Junior Grange Mini-Princess, and Tyler Davis, of Hamburg, was crowned the Berks County Junior Grange Mini-Prince.
Avery is the daughter of Eric and Connie Tworkoski. She is 12 years old and is in 7th grade at Hamburg Middle school. Her hobbies include field hockey and softball.
Peter is the son Alan and Beth Rohrbach. He is 14 years old and is homeschooled. His hobbies include helping at the fire company, and showing cows.
Grace is the daughter of Dan Tempel and Britany Tempel. She is 9 years old and is in 3rd grade at Halifax Elementary School. Her hobbies include softball.
Tyler Davis is the son of Mike and Suzanne Davis. He is 10 years old and is in 4th grade at Schuykill Valley Elementary School. His hobbies include playing games, football and basketball.
Other members of court included: Princess court - Cathleen Moatz, Sarah Berger, Cadence Tempel, and Alexa Davis; Prince court - Brayden Heckman, Wyatt Koller, Owen Schlegel, and Jaxon Seidel; Mini-Princess court - Samantha Davis, Chloe Shealer, Alexis Servin, and Lillian Dusko; and Mini-Prince court - Justin Dusko, Connor Servin, Jacob Schroeder, and Clayton Davis.
In order to be eligible for court, each camper takes a Grange knowledge test. High test scores were awarded to Cathleen Moatz, Peter Rohrach, Samantha Davis, and Tyler Davis. Outgoing royalty include Veronica Heckman, Tanner Davis, Emma Seidel and Logan Eisenhower.
