AO Float & Free Stand-up Paddle Demos hosted at Blue Marsh

AO Float & Free Standup Paddle Demos will be held July 31 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Blue Marsh Lake, Church Road parking area, in Leesport. Rain date is Aug. 1.

Join the folks of Aqua Om Paddle for an AO Float from 9-10 a.m. Class would include 5 minute demo of basic SUP instruction, paddle to location of class, anchor to AO Center Stage, 30-35 minute guided meditation, paddle back to launch destination. Meditation is a mind and body practice, experience the bliss of centering and connecting to self while floating on a SUP board in nature. Board, paddle and life vest provided by Aqua Om Paddle. Limited to 8 spots.

There is a charge. Appropriate for ages 16 and older. Pre-registration and payment due by July 24 to 610-374-2944.

Then, at 10 am, those who are new to the sport can join teachers from Aqua Om to learn about how to properly use a paddle board and maintain balance while doing so. Free demos are offered every half-hour from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and are appropriate for ages 12 and older. Spaces are limited, pre-register by July 24 to 610-374-2944.
