Kutz­town Univer­sity to hold 17th Annual Big Band Bash on Nov. 8

Kutz­town Univer­sity will hold its 17th annual Big Band Bash on Thurs­day, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stump-Seiger ‘54 Mul­ti­pur­pose Room in the McFar­land Student Union Build­ing. The event is first come, first served and is free and open to the pub­lic.

The Big Band Bash will fea­ture se­lec­tions from the era when swing was king. KU’s award-win­ning Jazz En­sem­bles I and II will pair off for an old-fash­ioned battle of the bands, per­form­ing the mu­sic of Glenn Miller, Duke Elling­ton, Ar­tie Shaw, Count Basie, Frank Si­na­tra, Ella Fitzger­ald and many more.

Lis­ten to the con­cert in a cabaret-styled at­mos­phere and, if you’re in­clined, dance the night away to the mu­sic.
